We believe in the value of equitable partnerships that enhance the economic, social and environmental health of the Greater Lowell region, and we strive to create and nurture such partnerships both within and outside the University. Software· MS Office Pro Special· Zip Drive TrainingThe Center for Family, Work, and Community offers after-school programs and mentoring for middle and high school student and basic computer skills training courses for parents, and non-profit organization employees. FeesMost of the Centers programs are free, as part of the University of Massachusetts Lowells community outreach efforts. Some training programs charge nominal fees for enrollment. Future PlansWe will continue to improve and provide our service learning mentoring program, providing monitors for after-school programs at our site and at the Lowell Housing Authority's Mercier and Flanagan Centers. Service learning is a program that awards college credit to university students who incorporate community service into their course work. We partner at these service-learning centers with Recruitment Resources Consulting. |
