Update! As of this posting, it's been 5 years since this website was updated. Since those five years have passed, grant money has dried up and organizations have folded. Many of the facts and materials this site references are old and often inaccurate. Be that as it may, the vision of the consortium is still noble and worthy of effort. The Lowell Community Technology Consortium is a collaboration of organizations
and individuals using technology to serve the citizens of Lowell, Massachusetts.
Over twenty non-profit organizations participate in the Consortium through
the development of technology labs and training programs to educate
and enrich the lives of Lowell residents.

Lowell Telecommunications Corporation
leads the Lowell Community Technology Consortium by securing funding,
staff, and technology support. LTC initiated the Consortium
in 2000 using a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
